Our programs are created to assist in the development of the whole child by supporting and encouraging intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual growth. This experience occurs within the specially prepared Montessori environment under the guidance of highly trained and experienced teachers.
We endeavor to enhance a community experience for the children and their parents. Therefore parents are always welcome, and we encourage their active involvement in the life of the school.
Children's Gate Montessori is located on several acres in a quiet country setting just north of downtown Crystal Lake, Illinois. The school follows a traditional school calendar, September through May. We are a not-for-profit, independent Montessori school recognized by the American Montessori Society (AMS).
Children's Gate Montessori welcomes children of all races, nationalities and faiths.
A note about faith
Everything we do at school is based on the fundamental belief that little children are precious in the eyes of God.
We strongly affirm the primary responsibility parents have for their child's faith. That being said, it should be noted that Children's Gate Montessori is based on a Christian foundation. Therefore, we celebrate the holidays of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter from a Christian perspective.
